Clara da Silva

Co-Vice President of Art and Online Communication

Clara da Silva has years of experience creating award-winning art work. As an excellent student, talented artist, and willing volunteer she was selected to be the Co-Vice President of Art and Online Communication for Ann’s Backyard Forest. Clara has earned the Girl Scout Bronze and Silver Award for leadership and service. She has been awarded a Girl Scout Gold Award for a community tree planting project encouraging species diversity. For service she had been awarded the both the Gold Presidential Volunteer Service Award and the Superintendent’s Student Service Learning Award. Additionally she has earned the Congressional Gold Award. Clara she was awarded the Presidential Scholarship at her university, Pratt Institute, where she is a painting student. Prior to joining the non-profit she earned numerous awards for her art. She works in a number of mediums including watercolor, ink, acrylic, marker, and photography.
